May News Update

I haven't started any new projects this month, and the long layoff  is starting to make me worry that I'll never be able to come up with another idea again!  I've not been feeling very well recently, and the day job has been manic, so I'm giving myself a pass on the understanding that next month I'll take on the role of Project Manager and prove myself to Lord Sugar... wait, what?!

A very popular Youtuber has offered to voice a sketch for me... Unfortunately my brain doesn't want to write anything funny at the moment.  This is the only sketch I've been able to come up with Millionth Customer (PDF).  But it's not good enough!  I may not get a chance to work with this guy again so I need to come up with something completely surprising and original.  Socks need to be blown off!

I've also signed up for a week long Flash animation course in July.  I suppose I better learn the industry standard software at some point!

And finally, I've been practising my walk cycle animations this week and that's been going very well, I will hopefully post them up here at the weekend.  Here's the little guy I made to practise my animations with.

And while I'm here posting random images.  Here's my aborted attempt at modelling my mascot Elephant Shoepie in 3D.  He doesn't look as cute as I hoped he would so I'll try again at some point.
