Animating Petals in Blender

Here's a quick 4 second test animation that I made with Blender. One of the many amazing features of Blender is the SoftBodies physics simluation which I used here to automaically animate the petal's flowing motion. This is going to add a great secondary movement to my otherwise simple character animation.

Another feature used in this test is the Inverse Kniematics tool which allows me to control the Flower's entire body just by moving a single handle (An Empty) on it's neck. My old Judo teacher used to say that wherever the head goes, the body follows. He must have been a Blenderhead too!
